Dutch sparrow killer seeking attention on TV

# on November 16th 2005 at 8:39 am in Animals & Nature, The Netherlands

This morning I was watching the news on TV. The guy that, last monday, shot the little sparrow that found a way into the Domino D-day complex, is now saying he’s being threatened on the Internet.

Well, duh .. And this should come as a surprise? Obviously the guy’s now seeking attention, because why would one, whose life is already being threatened on-line, show his own sorry ass on TV? Wouldn’t this enable everybody to recognize him when he’s walking down the street? Which leads me to think the threats cannot be that serious…

To the people that threaten the guy that shot the little sparrow: of course he isn’t even responsible: the folks that organise this whole event are. So please direct your threats at the correct person(s).

All in all, this shooter does make a weird living though.

Which brings me to the question: Can shooting animals really be called ‘making a living‘?

And you know? I think this whole debacle might cause all the Domino Record Break attempts to be sabotaged in the future.

Honestly, I couldn’t care less about it either. Ever since they started incorperating ways to pause the dominoes from falling to insert adverts on TV I totally lost interest.
