Of course, the let’s flame ‘m again because our future may be threatened by the wiki concept Register picked this story up pretty quickly, another bunch of vandals fucked up Wikipedia content.
It’s to be expected that a lot of commercial companies really don’t like Wikipedia. If you read what the former editor of Encyclopedia Britannica stated last month, that’s pretty obvious:
Speaking to The Register last month, former Britannica editor Bob McHenry charictarized Wikipedia as a game, one of many multiplayer shoot-em-up games that have been made popular by the spread of networked computers.
And as these companies have a lot of money (= marketing power) they can spread word about the so-called incredibility and let other people fight their war by stimulating them to modify Wiki content.
This all really paints a perfect picture how us humans have fucked things up. Morality is nothing more than a void term, as is democracy, as is freedom…..
