Cat saves people from fire

Reported yesterday, an article about a grandmother and baby being saved from a fire because the cat started meowing:

Jean Poole and her nine-month-old granddaughter were dozing yesterday in Poole’s mobile home in York County, Pennsylvania, when Poole’s seven-year-old cat, Princess, woke them up, meowing loudly.

Poole got up, smelled smoke and heard the crackling of flames. She went to check the wood-burning stove in the living room, and saw flames at the picture window.

Pets are cool. :)
