Well, this: BBC NEWS reports that Dutch MPs to decide on burqa ban
The Dutch government will announce over the next few weeks whether it will make it a crime to wear traditional Islamic dress which covers the face apart from the eyes. The Dutch parliament has already voted in favour of a proposal to ban the burqa outside the home, and some in the government have thrown their weight behind it.
Logic tells one this can only lead to no good…. On one hand there’s the people choosing for this religion, just like there are people that choose to wear crosses, however offending I find it. On the other hand, there’s the suppressed woman that can now no longer leave her home. And that latter point seems to be the whole issue here!
So yeah, such a law will ban everybody from seeing the problem, but the problem most definitely still persists…
