Burn the US-flag day!

# on February 3rd 2006 at 8:59 am in Humour, Media, Religion & Politics, Random Rantings

Right-winged people, especially the US ones, are dumb racist and arrogant fucks.

They think it is funny to publish provoking material — adding to it that the Islamic people can’t take a joke. Right…

They seem to happily ignore any long term effects of blaming a whole culture for the violence only a relative small percentage actually reverts to.

This not thinking about long term effects seems an overall problem with these right-winged fucks (Kyoto, funding al-Qaida, funding Saddams’ regime, funding Hitlers’ regime, et cetera).

And if I may be so free to be just as generalising as those people — I may safely draw the conclusion that all Americans are arrogant, racist, right-winged fucks.

Burn The US Flag Day
So, in order to give these fucknuts the honour the deserve — I would like to declare this years’ April Fool’s Day — that is April 1st, 2006 — as being the first edition of an annual, world-wide, Burn The US Flag Day:

On this day people in every culture will `pay tribute‘ to the American arrogance that has gotten the whole world in this vicious cycle of violence we’re never going to get out of, by burning anything that looks like their beloved flag or like their dummy president.

Not only would this bring people closer together because we’re all in the same crappy situation where the US seems to dictate our every move, it would actually be terribly funny I would wet my pants laughing.

Ha ha ha!

So people: update your calendars not to forget that April 1st, 2006 is the first annual, global, Burn The US Flag Day. You can order them here, or you can just paint some old bed-sheet and set fire to that.

For ideas and inspiration, check out The American Flag Burning Archive.

Let us pay tribute!

Generalizations seem to be as far as your simple minds can see. We American Right Wingers frequently point out that it is a small percentage of extremists who pervert Islam. When you say that all Americans fit into one category, you’re doing the exact thing that you set out to complain about. We do understand though, that for those like you who practice the religion of Hate it is hard to see anyone else’s point of view. It must seem odd to you when an American like me can be so tolerant that he doesn’t need to respond with he same hatred.

This observation is a 100% correct. Also, that is the posts’ whole point. I like to turn things around in order to change a point of view, or to create understanding for something.

Oh not at all — I only made the stupid generalisation for the sake of it.

The point is — a lot of people could, after reading the down-right insults in the article, actually start to hate me.

That is exactly happening regarding these Danish cartoons, see. Sad reality is that people seem to downplay other peoples’ emotions, putting their own first: I should believe my article is downright insulting, but those Danish cartoons are not? I don’t believe in that.

navaho, you inspired me to stay up late in the night a craft a post that reflects your position, which i completely agree with.

i love how that guy called himself tolerant *right after* he said you “practice the religion of HATE”

i’m an american. like everywhere, there are people that get it, and there are people who are lost.
