In case you didn’t know, and you are into political rap (like it is supposed to be), there’s two albums coming out tomorrow that you got to have.
I’ve already pre-ordered these, because I do buy CDs from artists that are worth listening too and actually care about the world and the people who buy their music.
But I digress a little — let’s go back to introducing the two albums available in stores tomorrow.

Featuring tracks from (among others) Paris, Public Enemy, Dead Prez, MC Ren, KRS-One and The S.T.O.P. Movement this is bound to be some cool shit.

Rebirth Of A Nation is a completely Paris-produced Public Enemy album. Definitely, PE & Paris equals lots of message with some excellent music. To quote the GuerrillaFunk-site:
And the magic continues. From the hard-rock edge of “Hard Truth Soldiers” and the title track, to the jazzy “Show ‘Em Watcha Got”-esque “Pump The Music, Pump The Sound,” Public Enemy and Paris are in rare form indeed, with the necessary attention paid to not only the lyrics and the music, but to the legacy that is PE.

Yay — my pre-order arrived by mail today.
PE’s pumping in my stereo now, currently into the 2nd track now. I hope the neighbours won’t be too upset, though.
