Yay, Donner stepping down.

# on September 21st 2006 at 1:12 pm in Media, Religion & Politics,The Netherlands

It’s official, Donner is stepping down from his position as minister of Justice.

And it all happened while I was busy coding I didn’t even notice if the gf didn’t call me.

See, I never did trust the guy. During his time in the government, the guy survived a few ‘motions of distrust’, which they call it when a few politicians collectively distrust a colleague and want him out.

I didn’t think the Schiphol-affair would really be the final drop, so to speak.

So — for some it’s a happy day, for me anyways. Time for another guy to have a try at that position. :)

Ahw shit, it only hit me a couple of hours after posting the above that, it’s all a fucking charade.

See — there are new elections next month to elect a new government. Donner is just ‘acting’ like he’s the ‘responsible’ guy and shit so people are actually praising him for his actions.

So it’s all a big set-up and he’ll be back in office in a couple of months, I’m sure.

    Damned bastard.
