November 22nd 2006 at 9:39 am in Quote Of The Week So it is Tuesday as I type this — I was just reading this post and comments on connecting*the*dots noticing a part of Steve Martin‘s Non-Conformist Oath (not even being sure if the guy that posted it was actually aware of that fact).
Anyway, reading that line really brought some memories back from the early eighties…. I guess I was about 6 or 7 then, and my parents came back from a trip to the US and brought, among other souvenirs, this cassette with them. A tape with a recording of Steve Martin’s show “A Wild And Crazy Guy”.
I kinda ‘grew up’ with that tape — man I thought he was funny, even though I didn’t really understand 100% of what he was saying, I did memorise a lot of his stuff.
That’s why, this week’s Quote Of The Week is dedicated to Mr. Steve Martin (it doesn’t always have to be serious, you know):
