I just caught this article on the Register about an ASA complaint about a Guardian advertisement against the usage of ID cards. This one:

Worked hard to make Blair look like Hitler? It seems to me that they just converted an existing image to black- and white and slapped a barcode on it.

Anyways, still it’s a good thing the ad wasn’t pulled, nor any fines had to be payed because the ad so very definitely makes a point.
