January 18th 2007 at 4:14 pm in The Netherlands The weather is shitty as hell today, storms and rain and shit. Pretty rough. So, I noticed the lights going off and on. Two times. All the machines are OK — just my internet connection isn’t.
Heh, as I type this the lights went again. I hope I still have juice later today. 
Oh yeah — and that my internet goes back up.
Update: and it is again. Took some minutes to check out what this storm was doing to the rest of the Netherlands. Again, it’s advised to stay inside. The A2, one of the main traffic arteries is closed because of the storm.
And if you think, hey, I’m not taking the A2, I’m taking the train, you’re out of luck because even the Amsterdam CS train-station got evacuated today causing disruptions to train-schedules. And to top it all of, busses and ferries suffer from the storm too.
I guess some people will be having a hard time getting home. This is one of those days I’m happy that I’m working home.
