And all other so-called “laws” that ought to protect “intellectual property”.

To prevent other people from stealing it and putting it on the market with cheaper labour.

So that’s saying: we want to protect intellectual property. Because we are so smart and innovative.

But you must pay the full price that we put to that crap we produce. Can’t have any fair competition giving everybody the change to market it….

(Ironically, USA wouldn’t have been there if all that criminal scum didn’t leave Europe, so factually, all your base belongs to us *anyway*.)

Obama: you’s the white man’s new bitch. The biggest one ever. Oh my god how many people you must put to shame with your “white” behaviour. Bitch is worse than the KKK….

Haha, damn criminals, each and every one of those politicians.

Oh fuck, it’s not even funny.

I feel really sorry for the people that thought the world was seriously going to change for the better when that clown took that post.

But hey, you /could’ve/ seen this shit coming.

Who the fuck were they trying to kid anyway — trying to prevent the USA from getting their scapegoat: Gary McKinnon is to be extradited to US.

If he is prevented from committing suicide, and if he’s technically any good, he is most probably going to end up working for the US army.

Either way, good bye Gary, and do whatever you got to do…

<rant>
I know your story shall not be forgotten. In fact, this is surely going to cause more agression towards the USA — which, of course, is exactly the plan: the more people upset with the US, the more people organise — which means that more groups of people can be targeted as “sleeper cells” and end-up as so-called non-combatants in some foreign prison getting humiliated…

The more we look at this and get used to it, the easier this excuse can be used to take out any voices of freedom. (Freedom != democracy — you could be called a non-thinking idiot to think otherwise.) From terrorists to the non-violent political groups — people arrested and never to be heard of again. This “movement” has been happening for almost a decade now — it started since that 9/11-facade and has been speeding up ever since.

Speeding items shall definitely run into a wall at some point, but I sincerely hope it won’t do too much damage to the not-so-guilty. (We’re all responsible for baking this global shitcake, actually…)
</rant>

Couldn’t help but notice the ‘hype’ surrounding the article entitled ‘You Grew Up Playing Shoot’em-Up Games. Why Can’t Your Kids?…. Although the title of that article may sound grown-up and wise, personally, I think it’s a bullshit wise-crack because I seriously doubt it has anything to do at all with computer games at all.

You could just as well be asking:
“You screwed around in the sixties, now why can’t your kids?”
“You smoked as a teen, now why can’t your kids?”
“You shop-lifted, broke public property and sprayed graffiti on walls, now why can’t your kids?”
“You watched porn, now why can’t your kids watch MTV?”

Now I could go off making dumb conclusions a few paragraphs to say with a lot of words that, well, sex, smoking and shoplifting or braking public property isn’t what it used to be… But you know that is just a silly waste of electronic ink.

(Oh, if I only wrote columns for a paper — then I could get payed (per word) for my bullshit musings, too.)

This doesn’t have a single thing to do with the games — it has to do with the fact that people slowly realise that TV and media do have a bad influence…. Under the guise of ‘freedom of speech’ and shit like that, we get all kinds of soft-porn thrown at us — and surely girls get raped on the streets.

That is all OK because MTV can sell ads in between. But parents have to get the fingers pointed at and told “Hey you played games as a kid why can’t yours?.”.

So the media can sell more.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have now got an Apple MacBook Pro to work on, which obviously has its pros and cons. Sure, the machine supports X11 to a certain extent but I don’t want to basically run 2 different window managers that look and act a bit differently. I have been working on Linux machines for over a decade now and one of the major drawbacks of having a mainstream operating system is that everyone that writes an application or utility for it wants to sell it. You search for something, you think you find it because you read a good review or something and end up on a page where you can download a crippled piece of software.

Nope, it doesn’t seem enough anymore that somebody else even wants to try your software — no, people have to pay to get an un-crippled, functional application.

I don’t mind people making an honest buck, but the crippling of functionality seem like mob-extortion practices to me.

And it’s really starting to become an annoyance… again (hence this rant). It seems that money is more important than showing off what you can do. Back when I was a kid, it was fun to write software and share it with people I knew. The idea that somebody else was using my software or playing my game was cool — somebody else that would think ‘Wow this is a great, I’m glad he wrote this‘.

Now people are like, ‘I’m a l33t coder — gimme gimme gimme and you get this fine application without crippled functionality.‘, before you have actually started using the program. (And everything being released as a binary, it’s pretty hard to find out if they actually wrote it themselves and didn’t steal logic from known Open Source projects. Being I’m Dutch, I don’t think I would even want to pay up $20 to attempt to find out.)

Man, didn’t you write that utility or program because you wanted the functionality yourself? People downloaded and used your program and have possibly sent you bug-reports, feature requests and new ideas. And then, suddenly, your great free program turns into a cock-teasing prostitute that knows what the users want and you depend on the fact that a few people that have taken it for a lap-dance will pay up for the complete job — just showing enough to make the average guy horny.

No wonder there are guys (and girls) out there that crack that type of software. To continue the analogy in the previous paragraph, that isn’t rape, the software is asking for it.

No, today it seems that the crackers are the really smart guys out there. At least, they unconditionally release their tools — for their own egos or whatever. If the ego of any author of a cracked application was just as equally pleased he wouldn’t have had to lock-up his piece of software to begin with.

But relax, I wouldn’t use a cracked version of your program anyway — there’s no love, man — I’d only make love to a woman that actually wants to, for free.

My girlfriend just called me about this hilarious bit about a guy that had gotten a passport with his picture made while he looked like The Joker from the Batman series.

Apparently, after stating that ‘this was his way of life’, the municipal office didn’t see no problem with it, and issued <s>a passport</s> an ID-card.

This is funny as fuck, because they thought of these new rules when you want <s>a passport</s> an ID card, one of the idiot rules is ‘you may not smile and your face has to be visible completely’ and some stupid shit like that. All because the white christian facist assholes in the government wanted the burqa banned…

As I said many times, it’s one thing to think of a new law… but if it’s impossible to enforce it why fucking bother. It would save us all so much money, time and useless effort.

Kudos to this guy for trying this… and succeeding!

Players and creators of video games could face imprisonment for acts of virtual violence under draft legislation being drawn up by two of Germany’s state governments.

It could’ve been an article on The Onion but sadly — it ain’t no joke. ‘Der’ Man wants to illegalise in-game violence thinking that it will prevent kids going insane shooting everything to shite.

Can’t it get any sillier than that? It’s one thing to think of a law, but there’s got to be a way of enforcing it too…. Can you imagine, game producers would have to create a way for the police to watch in on in-game behaviour — and throw you in jail if they don’t see it fit. On second thought that’s not a hard thing to imagine after all but sheesh… just when you finally find a way to excercise your anger without hurting anyone and they find a way to take it away.

Damn bastards…

I have just caught this article here and it sickens me how, the ‘free world that the terrorist envy‘, is all run by money. I just hope some of the parents are wise enough to teach their kids, though… I mean, yeah, they’re American, but that doesn’t mean that they’re all morons, even a retard can have its day.

Rats, fucking rats, I tell ya.

Korea? Al-Qaida? Oh wait, I could better call on people that really got nukes out there… Please use them!

It surely seems like nature’s only chance of survival — is with mankind removed from the equation because we’re all merely interested in filling our pockets.

Because it doesn’t matter how much you love the environment — the moment you got kids or shit like that — you think you need to be a part of the money-hungry-nature-raping society because it seemingly leaves people chanceless, that don’t.

Really wanna give your kids an honest chance? Do you really want a ‘better’ world?

Then we should stop supporting the viral capitalist machine, but we’re all too much of a hypocrite to actually do something against it because that would mean that we’d have to sacrifice something.

And in this gotta-have-all society I guess that’s just something that we don’t do.

I just caught this sick shit through The Register…. Guy gets tazed by cops because he couldn’t show an ID card.

“Stand up or you will get tazed again?”

What the frigging fuck? Of course, everybody says it’s a bad thing. Sure, I’m not saying that it isn’t….

But, I don’t know what upsets me more here. The fact that 1 guy gets abused by cops or the fact that everybody is just standing by, watching this person getting abused by these assholes, while AB-SO-LUTELY doing nothing?

WHAT THE FRIGGING FUCK? That’s a fucking shameful sight!

Hundreds of students, all of them could’ve been in that exact situation. But what are they doing? They’re doing nothing. Nobody does fucking anything. Afraid they’ll get tazed but not realising they cannot taze you all (it’s exactly like all the worlds’ countries are trying to please the US bully). We’re all blaming the politicians but the people we’re envisioning a better world for are just as spineless, man.

There could have been real news for ya — there could be a real serious revolt against this types of abuse, if all those students standing-by would just fucking ran over and trampled the abusive personel (hey, I’m not condoning violence, that’s poetic justice — man — fucking poetic justice: you fuck with the people and the people should fuck back. They couldn’t have tazed all the students, come on? Where’s your fucking sense of community, you selfish fucks?

These, surely not innocent, by-standers just let it ride, to see somebody get beat up. To have a nice exciting story to tell how bad all these anti-terrorism laws are and how they get abused.

To make a point on the internet that you hate these things….

But what does it really do? It makes us get used to this types of shit, or even more people scared of authorities…. Anyway they both result in even less people interfering.

Videos like this will surely not stop the laws. A law can only be stopped, if the people that enforce it, can not. It’s as simple as that.

It would’ve been a hell-of-a-lot more useful for mankind to hear a bunch of US students revolting, ripping those fucking cops to shreds like the US soldiers are doing Iraqi kids. If vile shit like that in the Middle East is played down as ‘collateral damage’, then the escalation of a uni-incident, the possible destruction of a few buildings, and the deaths of a few cops to end this insanity would’ve surely been worth the hidious sight.

Now, they can just play this shit down as an incident and I’m already waiting for the statement that `this sometimes happens in the war against invisible entities that are out for our freedom.

Being a cynic as well as a pessimist, I just know that nothing will change because of these incidents. The current state of the mankind really sickens me and reading and seeing that like-sheep-to-the-slaughter shit about the generation that is supposed to inherit our Earth, really, really, depresses me. Fuck man, for the sake of argument, if a god was looking down on that shite he most certainly must have turned his back (but I think he already did that the moment some of the people had this arrogant idea there’s something big and powerful looking out for them — but argh, I digress, again).

Fact of the matter is that, since we stopped looking out for each other, ‘The Man‘ can, and will, have his way.

But I guess the critical majority will just assume the position and suck on the bitter excuses…. And there will be plenty more where that came from, as long as each and any of us are too scared to get caught in the heat and are not realising that, by doing so, are actually turning up the gas…

I couldn’t resist to use the same title for this post as the one I recently read on connecting*the*dots — because, hey, the following is also the dark nature of capitalism…

This morning, there was some news on TV (can’t help it — my girlfriend always turns the damn thing on in the morning), that earlier this week, in Germany, 117 containers filled with fake-sneakers was intercepted in a shipment from Asia:

According to the news-reader, the total catch had a worth of 380 million Euros.

Now, with all these poor development countries and all these initiatives to get your old clothes to, say, typhoon- or hurricane- hit areas or whatever and all these initiatives to recycle and shit — what do you think that they did with these shoes?

But of course, don’t be ridiculous thinking otherwise, it has to serve the capitalist cause….. It gets destroyed:

Now ain’t that cute…. (but oh so wrong)… I mean — al those Asian kids exploited for nothing — they’re out of a job now.

And fuck, it’s probably because they made an ever better product than the brand itself…

Last night I had a hard time getting asleep and couldn’t resist thinking about the sorry sick state our world is in, the way that it is getting spinned out of control caused mainly by the corruption-prone mechanics of politics and economics.

About how megalomanic people are put in powerful positions and how they, slowly and surely, turn their backs and completely ignore the people.

How the governmental machine always manages to create insane, unfair and exploitable laws and technologies, even if masses of people advise them, hell, beg of them not to do it. I’m thinking of biometric-schemes, RFID, software patents (hell — the patent-process itself is as dubious as fuck if you ask me; the introduction of such a system exposed the sorry-ass, despicable, selfish and greedy nature we have now long gotten used to. And fuck, ‘gotten used to?’ — this goddamn sorry ass ‘society’ depends on it.)

On one side we’ve grown into this seemingly ‘evolved’ structure in which we are told constantly expected to treat eachother with respect and that we shouldn’t be violent towards eachother. All this, while the advertisements on TV are constantly out to tickle our primitive un-evolved primal instincts — trying to sell whatever stuff that we don’t really need, to a lot of people that think they want it.

Today, our ancient primal instincts play a more important role than our ‘evolved’ make-believe outside is willing to admit. (Maybe the evolution-theory is a hoax after all — or it simply doesn’t apply to man anymore. See, the word ‘evolution’ implies improvement.)

Obviously, the political- and advertisment world is surely aware of this fact. I mean, today, to sell a frigging paperclip these idiots resort to cheap sexual innuendo in a feeble attempt to make their ad stand out from any other.

And it’s not just the ads — it seems that everything gets raunchier by the year. Honestly I haven’t seen recent film get released that did not have excessive nakedness in it. It is sad that these companies have to get some slutty media-cunt to host some show, to get viewers for a show that nobody would frigging watch in the first place. I can’t hardly call that ‘smart’ marketing, rather cheap.

Please don’t get me wrong — I am surely not down with censorship — but I do think that we cannot — no, we may not — pose as this ‘decent’ society, breaking apart others and telling them how to live, as long as it is in-decency that seems to makes it function.

You can’t expect ‘sexual’ offenders to keep a low profile it they are constantly fed pictures of young women, that try hard to look even younger, suggestively offering their bodies. It’s a fact that, the younger an artist is, and the less clothes she wears, the more records she’ll sell because all the sad fucks at home want to jerk off watching it.

Again, that’s playing on the primal instincts of men to fuck every thing in sight. Strangely, it’s illegal to have sex with a minor — but it’s OK to corrupt its mind with indecency, lies and propaganda, potentially fucking it up even more.

That is called psychologic rape and boy must all our asses hurt — fuck — I wonder if we got any ‘guts’ left at all.

I mean, if I was Middle-Eastern I’m sure I’d would want those Western fucks out as well, as soon as possible and by whatever means. You’d fight too if you realised you don’t want your society get corrupted and reduced to a bowl of stinking poop. (When the first creature crawled out of the `primordial soup’, we seem to have evolved from its `primordial poop’ — and most probably found a way to exploit the initial creature.)

The ad- and political world still depend on our primal instincts, so why did we, as the people, stop to acknowledge this? Ah, because we are told that it is bad.

See, it is bad to provoke anger and it is bad to provoke violence. They say it’s bad because it is bad for them.

Because they know they cannot control it. We seem oblivious to this same fact, or have been programmed to ignore it.

Take a fucking look around — do you really think this all will get any better by doing nothing? I’m sure it will only get worse. Far too many people are willing to just let it roll, shrug it off trying to ignore it all — but on the other hand, they are still ‘hoping’ for better times, hoping that somebody else will do all the dirty work. If it ain’t worth dying for, it can’t hardly be worth living in?

Sadly, a better world seems impossible because of the lack of momentum — you can’t get the critical amount of people to take the same stance because we are divided over everything. And if we aren’t, it only takes so much to shatter the bond, because we’ve been forced to live together, having grown into having so many different views in the first place. The ‘planners’ know that it is mainly nurture, not nature, that forms us our character, our greed, defines our will and ours lusts. So, the more different shit they show the more confused and divided the multitude is, and indifferent it will get towards it.

Fact of the matter is that there are only so many ‘classes’ of products because there are so many different ‘classes’ of people. If only 1 black 1080p HDMI television was available on the market, it wouldn’t cause the invisible fight between people to have a better thing, or something more unique, than another person has.

It is sad that, today, a lot of people in our society think lesser of themselves because they only have a black-and-white TV and the governments world-wide resort to lotteries to give these people some reason to keep them doing their lousy jobs, some reason to live for.

Again — we are using a term applied to something that’s not really what the word defines it to be; ‘society‘ implies structure and a togetherness. A thing bound together by ‘goodness’. We need eachother that because we are a ‘community animal’, without our beloved ‘tools’, we can’t do shit on our own.

The bond should not be, as we know it, one induced by fear. Fear of losing status, the fear of losing the ability to (financially) care for yourself at an older age. Hell — even the fear of being unable to get yourself a decent burial or cremation when you finally do get your ticket out of here…

And, we shouldn’t forget, the fear of death itself. Hell, why do people fear death?

I can imagine one fears death because they feel for their loved ones and hurt at the thought that they would have to go through life alone from that point. Yep — I feel ya — that is a sad thought and definitely a sound reason to fear death. ‘To fear death’ may be too strong a term though; ‘to prolong life’ would actually fit better.

But if you fear death because you think you haven’t gotten everything out of life that you wanted, that you haven’t reached a certain point of ‘success’, then it is obviously more a selfish reason.

In fact — the first reason is rather selfish as well. In the first place, it’s pretty arrogant to think that the other person really cannot be happy without you — but it is our selfishness that doesn’t want the other person to be happy with some other guy.

Remember, we are each as insignificant as the other — ‘mankind’ lost its significance when it got too divided.

Ironically, the only thing in which we are significant in, something we do collectively do, is affecting our environment to a degree that it will become impossible to live in at some point. Depending on how you define ‘to live‘ it could be impossible already.

That said, I’m not really sure if I would want this boiling, bubbling, splashing-in-your-face heap of diarrhea to settle down, and want this world to turn into a better place. If I take a look around I see a lot of sad fools that don’t even fucking deserve it after I have heard their brainwashed minds talk about shit they don’t know the details of. (Yeh I’m not too proud, or too dellusioned, to admit that I’m a selfish fuck, too)

Why do fucking bother, trying to prevent the population from running of the edge of a cliff like lemmings?

BTW, everybody knows that lemming analogy, but did you know that it is acually complete and utter bullshit? I recently found out, watching the programme Quite Interesting on the BBC the other day, that the lemmings-running-of-cliffs story is a Disney ‘documentary’ induced myth, staged using domestic lemmings that have been forced to fall into the water and drown. Yep — indeed — Disney, the animal exploitation studio. Hearing sickening animal cruelty shit like that, I wouldn’t be surprised if, at that time, the assholes at Disney that invented this idea, played with the cocks of the little kids they were making movies for…

But I slightly digress, although I don’t think the above is completely out of place because it nicely illustrates how one can market a truth for a few decades and how easily one can get away with their fucking lies. I think the parallels, with any of the relatively recent goings-on world-wide, are pretty damned obvious.

Yeah, in a couple months its 2007 and this world will most probably stink even more; while ‘the man’ will continuelly tell us it is the smell of freedom & democracy — and that it smells of roses.

Honestly, the governments and rulers of old have had their chance… I say, let the people figure themselves out. Power to the people and back to visible conflict, and honest fights between people rather than each of us being a soldier in an invisibly fought war in which we don’t want to, but unknowingly — and constantly have to take sides.

I rather have blood on my hands, physically fighting my way through an anarchic world than to have to have the blood on my hands of each suffering nation on the planet..

Well, go to jail already! In the Netherlands, the police will label anybody that hands over their PIN-code, as a ‘suspect of a criminal act’. Of course, there are things to be said against, and pro…. But, of course, I’m more leaning towards against: I didn’t fucking ask for a fucking banking-card that is protected by something insane as a mere PIN-code.

I didn’t ask for that cheap, vulnerable, very easily exploitable, technology.

But I am forced to use it.

Now, if somebody threatens my life, I either risk getting shot by the guy, or getting sued by the state, because I’m a criminal when I hand over my PIN-code. Like I said: I did not ask for this vulnerable technology, and, I didn’t ask for the banks to move to machines, so they could fire their (human) personnel thus make more money.

So now, in order to fix the problem they have created, they’re labeling us as suspects, pointing the blame at us?

See how they distrust you? And we are expected to trust them?

Remember years ago, when we had to physically go to the bank to get funds and had to show our passport to a person before we got our money.

The whole ‘Gimme your PIN-code at gun-point‘ situation wouldn’t even exist then. Basically, they are trying to fix a broken system that shouldn’t have been introduced in the first place.

Watch my words, in a couple of years we get this same shit dealing with RFID and other ‘new’ stuff.

It’s terribly sickening they’ve got a link on top of their page ‘Click here for the Muhammed cartoons’.
I also terribly see this Bert / Ernie scenario where Ernie shoves a banana in his ears and Bert asks ‘Why is there a banana in your ear?‘

Ernie says, `To protect against the crocodiles.‘.

Most people refuse to understand that religion has been created solely for population control and mind manipulation.

If you read stuff like this:

I will not help Dan Brown get rich off a story that makes a mockery of some of my most sacred beliefs,” Ballew said this week as she prepared to attend one of the “Da Vinci Code” discussion groups popping up at countless churches in metro Detroit.

Once again — you see how religion is used for a partly commercial, partly political gain. The woman doesn’t like the fact the movie spreads ‘untruths’ about her belief.

She doesn’t realise that the sect she belongs to have told her lies and have manipulated her ever since she joined that damn religion.

She doesn’t mind that all these young kids that are impressed by a church’s rituals, and that these kids are fed stories about angels and devils and whatnot.

She doesn’t at all realise she’s nothing but a tool for the religion she thinks she represents. And that’s sad. (Thing is, the majority of the people are tools, unknowingly.)

If man firmly believes something the majority doesn’t, he’s pretty quickly labeled a conspiracy theorist.

But if everybody believes it, it’s called a religion. One could accomplish anything if you have a flock of not-too-intelligent and easy-to-convince sheep surrounding you.

You could demonise everybody that doesn’t like your group of people by giving the concept a flashy name like ‘anti-semetism’ or something. Heck, you could even brutally slay and murder anyone that can’t be convinces to believe the bullshit story.

It pretty obvious that there is no god.

The biggest trick that evil ever pulled was convincing the world there’s a god.
– Me, 2002

Every weekday morning, like many other slaves in this day and age, I fill up a big mug with some fine coffee and get into my car to drive to work.

It’s Spring-time, a new beginning, the start of a lot of new life: all types of birds are returning from their stay in warmer locations. They get a little noisier, find a partner and will already start building nests, etcetera.

That’s cool, because nature is cool — life is cool.

And it’s not only birds that are getting more active. It’s also the more ‘quiet’ animals that you hardly see, for instance, hares and rabbits.

Yeh you might’ve noticed them though — as roadkill: dead as a doornail, its long ears blowing in the wind, and their fluffy, deteriorating, bodies inflating to double the size because its infestation with all types of insects that eat at the dead flesh.

It really hurts me to see a dead animal like that, knowing that it absolutely ain’t their fault that they got run over.

It’s not their fault that some capitalist system found it necessary to lay some highway there, leaving the animals that lived there no alternative than to dare the cross.

I hate to know that, some of these little animals were on their own way to find food and then to return to the borough to it’s offspring which need to have food to prevent gastro-intestinal stasis.

I hate to know that these animals I see lying have never returned and their offspring have been effectively murdered.

I wonder how these fools do this? Do they have shit in their eyes?

I mean, I see a lot of dead animals, but I never hit one. Hell, even the part of the city I live in, where you may not drive faster than 30 Km/h, ducks and birds get murdered. That’s only possible if those drivers don’t effing watch out.

It’s sad… Really sad. It just one other of those things that annoy me, or even hate, more so as it seems there’s nothing to be done about it.

Remember the lame theory about buildings collapsing because of the heat of a fire? You can’t have missed that excuse.

The Register has a story on ‘drug-industry backed’ online animal-testing petition, to..

[..] encourage the public to show their support for animal testing. The Coalition for Medical Progress hopes to mobilise what it calls “the silent majority”.

Ah, I can see where this is heading: they are obviously trying to find support to be able to easily get rid of any protestors, possibly even by labeling them as terrorists. And they obviously want to rig the thing, they are doing it on-line.

That was my first thought, of course.

So I go on reading the three statements that people signing the petition commit to:

1. I believe that medical research is essential for developing new medical and veterinary treatments. I understand that finding safe and effective treatments and medicines requires some studies using animals.

Some? I thought it common knowledge that if you give a human being a finger, it is likely to take your whole hand. I have seen it happening with the wind-turbines that pop up everywhere in the Netherlands now, just because a ‘few’ where allowed initially.

And I’m not even sure that ‘some’ animal testing is even necessary. Although some apes have ~99% similar DNA, there’s still some major differences between the species. Anyone that cares about nature and animals will probably say `Why don’t these guys test these things on theirselves?‘, and I wonder why too.

And, fuck, it just as well could’ve been `I believe the world has been created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster and understand that Smurfs are blue and wear a white hat‘ — they could’ve just totally removed that void statement.

Next:

2. I believe that medical research using animals, carried out to the highest standards of care and welfare, and where there is no alternative available, should continue in the UK.

Note that the word ‘some‘ has completely disappeared here. Now it already is ‘where there is no alternative available’. And who is to say that there is no alternative. Yup, uhuh, most probably those pharmaceutical companies themselves.

Once the ‘law’ says its OK it’s just as well there’s some animal-rights activists. Yeh, ac-ti-vists. Fuck demonising them using words like ‘extremist’ or ‘terrorist’. I don’t like where this is heading at all. The public obviously doesn’t realise these activists do it for a greater good, not out of pure greed and selfishness like the pharmaceutical industry is trying to play you now. Like, playing the emotional ‘animal testing will surely give us a cure for cancer, aids and your missing baby daughter‘-card.

Anyway, my initial thought was verified when I read the last of these statements:

3. I believe that people involved in medical research using animals have a right to work and live without fear and intimidation or attack.

Hell, anybody anywhere can ‘vote’ for this facade of a petition.

They didn’t even bother to include the option to state the exact opposite of what this stupid thing says — I’m sure that would get definitely more support…

Here in the Netherlands, we have this system that gives some ‘social’ security to people without a job. Recently, a debate has started that questions whether women, that wear a burqa, that cannot get a job because of the burqa, shouldn’t get any money.

Wow. I made the point in earlier posts, that this anti-burqa thing hasn’t got anything to do with supposedly getting women out of a repressive situation (as the governments want the western people to belief that they’re in). Governments only strive to ‘fix’ the symptom of the problem in the ‘system’, but not fix the problem itself.

Hell, they just ‘ignore’ women with burqa’s altogether, we won’t see it, so the problems disappear. But the problems really don’t. This shit only makes matters worse.

Not only are these women supposedly repressed by their beliefs and partner, but now also by the government itself.

Fuck — if a handicapped person cannot work because he’s missing a few limbs, he gets fucking social security. He won’t get a fucking job either because of his missing limbs.

Purely hypothetical: If I couldn’t get a job because of my anti-US and anti-capitalist remarks, should I opt for not expressing such opinions and beliefs so I can get one?

Isn’t that repression?

Purely hypothetical: If I cannot get a job because I wear certain clothes, or express certain opinions that conflict with the general consensus, isn’t there something wrong with the system that preaches so-called equality, freedom and justice?

This capital-driven democracy-system sure ain’t what it’s cranked up to be: it is evil and its viral nature makes sure everybody is slowly but surely sucked into it.
